Matheus Nunes Pereira

Software Engineer. From firmware to backend, from interface to app.

At Monaco.gg I build the backend and real-time fraud detection engine for carrier-billed gaming platforms across Brazilian telecom operators (Claro, Vivo, TIM). I like real-time and concurrency problems: queues, telemetry, binary protocols and hardware talking to software. I deliver end to end, from services in .NET, Go or Rust to interfaces in React or Flutter.

What I do

End-to-end software, from hardware to screen.

01

Embedded

Software that talks to hardware: weigh-in-motion and inductive-loop sensors over TCP and serial, with binary protocols that survive device drops.

C++20 · Qt6 · Dear ImGui · Boost.ASIO · STM32 / ESP32
02

Backend

Event-driven services with DDD and CQRS, queues and messaging to process fraud, quotas and telemetry in real time.

.NET 8 · Go · Python (FastAPI) · NestJS · AWS SQS/SNS
03

Frontend

Real-time telemetry dashboards and high-performance interfaces, using WebSockets instead of polling and WebAssembly modules.

React · SvelteKit · TypeScript · SignalR · WASM
04

Mobile

Offline-first apps in Flutter and React Native, with native FFI modules crunching data without dropping 60/120 fps.

Flutter · React Native · SQLite · flutter_rust_bridge
05

Web

High-traffic portals and WebViews distributed at scale through telecom operators, focused on SEO, Core Web Vitals and stability.

Next.js · Vue · AWS CloudFront · GTM
after hours

Games — the sidequest

A hobby: I build, study and play them. This is where the site gets its name.

C++20 · Vulkan · PS2 recompilation

  1. Aug 2025 — present

    Software Engineer / Product Builder · Monaco.gg

    I build the core backend and real-time fraud detection engine for carrier-billed gaming platforms (Claro, Vivo, TIM), with async AWS SQS/SNS worker queues and MongoDB replicas kept stable under traffic bursts.

    Go · Python (FastAPI) · Next.js · SvelteKit · AWS (SQS, SNS, ECS) · MongoDB
  2. 2024 — present

    Software Engineer (ongoing freelance) · Techmobi Tecnologia

    Eliminated race conditions in the weigh-in-motion sensor diagnostics software (Qt6/C++20), reaching 100% field stability, and modeled 40+ domain entities in .NET 8 with DDD and CQRS.

    C++20 · Qt6 · Boost.ASIO · Rust · Flutter · .NET 8 · NestJS · SignalR
  3. Feb 2022 — Aug 2025

    Full Stack / Frontend Software Engineer · Pinó

    Led frontend development for enterprise portals and high-traffic apps in React, Next.js and Vue, and built React Native and Flutter apps backed by Node.js APIs on AWS.

    React · Next.js · Vue · React Native · Flutter · Node.js · MySQL
  4. 2023 — 2025

    Backend & Mobile Developer (freelance) · Runking

    Built an offline-first sync engine (SQLite + Rust FFI) that guaranteed zero data loss during live marathons on unstable cellular networks.

    Flutter · SQLite · Rust FFI · OpenTelemetry

Simulator & Relay

Problem
Build and test the weighing software without depending on the physical sensors installed on the highway.
My role
Designed and built the simulator, the TCP relay and the bridge to the interface.
Key decision
Rust + Tokio to orchestrate 8+ concurrent TCP listeners, with zero-copy FFI bindings to the Flutter UI.
Result
Inductive-loop protocols emulated, 92 test cases and 1000 Hz streaming.
